The World Showed Up for RMHC.

In November 2020, the world was on lockdown, social distancing, or avoiding public spaces, including McDonald’s restaurants. And as such, donations to Ronald McDonald House Charities were on lockdown, too.

We developed and launched a simple challenge with a powerful purpose: Post the RMHC heart on social media with #HereForRMHC and McDonald’s would give $100 in your name to Ronald McDonald House Charities as part of their $100 million commitment over five years.

People shared their hearts, their goofy dances, their smiles and your messages of solidarity that meant the world to RMHC and the families it serves. 

The Results

Over five billion impressions. Over nine million engagements. More than 300 media stories, with coverage around the world. And a 40% YOY increase in donations to RHMC.
